Alexandrina Council supports and encourages events that bring economic benefit, provide positive promotion on the region as a tourist destination and stimulates community interest and enthusiasm.
We offer and facilitiate an annual funding program to raise the profile of existing festivals/events and encourage the development of new festivals/events.

Visitor Information Centres
Alexandrina Council supports two accredited and award visitor information centres which are located in the townships of Goolwa and Strathalbyn.
The staff and volunteers provide a professional information and free booking service for accommodation, cruises and tours in South Australia.
