Clayton Bay

Clayton - WaterfrontClayton is a quiet holiday hamlet that cherishes its seclusion and welcomes visitors who appreciate the tranquillity of its sunny Autumn and Winter days or enjoy the breezy summers that attract sailors, fishermen and holiday makers each year.

The Lower Murray Wetlands has gained prominence with its well-deserved classification as a migratory bird habitat of world stature. It is also an outstanding place to sail, row, windsurf, use a motor boat or just to simply go fishing. For the day visitor the foreshore reserves have an oval, playground, shady trees, lawned picnic spots and hours of pleasant walking around the water's edge with excellent bird watching.
