Looking for a fun, exciting and unique way to spend the day? Then why not pop down to the Mount Compass farming community and be part of Australia's only cow race!

It's a great day of entertainment for the whole family with food stalls, sideshows and crowd participation events for young and old.

Plus you can participate in Australia's only cow race and win prize money. Cows you can purchase in the auction include:

• Splatter
• Desirabull
• Bog - a - Long
• Daisy
• Beasty

It's hard to resist. To experience rural life to its fullest join in with the Rubber Boot Marathon, the Wobbly Cow Race, the Milk Loading Competition, the Dung Fling and the Milk Skull Off.

Gates open 11am - late. Events start from 1pm.

This is a great days entertainment for the whole family with side shows, rides and plenty of food stalls you won't be disappointed with the Annual Compass Cup held on the Mount Compass Recreational Complex. Children are asked to donate a gold coin, all of which will be given to charity. An after race concert will start at 6.30pm until late.

This years event will feature the Compass Cup Ute Show, a famer's market, animal nursery and of course the infamous cow race.

Hot Weather Policy: In the event of hot weather the Compass Cup will still go ahead. There will be plenty of shade and water available. The program will also be adapted to incorporate fun water games to keep you cool.
