Pop-up Program

Pop-up Program - Chart Room, Goolwa Wharf Precinct

Media release 29 November 2021: Newly restored Chart Room to cradle emerging businesses via new pop-up program

Expressions of interest are now open for Goolwa’s first pop-up space – the Chart Room, Goolwa Wharf Precinct

Goolwa’s historic Chart Room is giving local businesses a platform to grow and to connect with residents and visitors to the region.

Alexandrina Council has renovated this historical site into a modern multi-purpose pop-up venue ideal for promotional activities, events, and other key initiatives

The historic Chart Room overlooks the Murray River and was originally used by Curson & Hooker's Goolwa iron works and patent slip for the storage of their charts and plans.

How to book the Chart Room?

Alexandrina Council invites local businesses to submit an Expression of Interest to use this venue. We hope that the venue will enable a variety of local start-ups, entrepreneurs, and small businesses to test, trial, and launch new products and offerings and to draw visitors to the region.

Step One: Email your Expression of Interest to
Step Two: Business Alexandrina will review your expression of interest.
Step Three: You will receive an email from the Business Alexandrina team regarding your request to utilise the Chart Room facilities and pop-up space.

The Chart Room is a small 19th century stone building
