The Australia Day Awards Committee is established as an Advisory Group reporting directly to Council.
The Australia Day Awards Committee is established to manage the voting for Australia Day Awards in Alexandrina Council, which are conducted annually and within the guidelines as set by the Australia Day Council of South Australia and within the objectives set out in their Terms of Reference.
The Committee makes recommendations to Council for the Australia Day Awards. Council decides the successful recipients.
