Advanced Notice of Works
Strathalbyn – SAPN Project
South Australian Power Network (SAPN) have advised they are undertaking work to remove fifteen Aleppo Pine trees on Callington Road, Strathalbyn, opposite the Eastern Fleurieu School. SAPN have conducted an assessment of the trees regarding minimum legislative clearances requirements for Over Head High Voltage Wires. They have advised that trimming the trees further is not an option and will be removing these trees on the first week of the July 2020 School holidays to minimise the disruption to the community. Please direct any enquiries to SAPN on 13 12 61.
Council will undertake to have the stumps ground down and the site restored. Council further plans to replace the removed trees, in the 2020/21 financial year when the resources and budget are available and the replacement species selected.
Freemans Knob, Port Elliot

We apologise for any inconvenience caused, however these works have been deemed necessary. For further information please contact Council’s Field Services Manager on 8555 7000.
