Join now, EOI open until 13 Nov

Council plans to take a fresh approach to engaging with the community through the establishment of the Community Wellbeing Advisory Forum (CWAF) and, is seeking people from the local community who are passionate and motivated about the health and wellbeing of their community to lodge an Expression of Interest (EOI) by no later than 13 November 2020.

The approach by Council will involve both meetings and workshops that engage with the community, please refer to the Community Wellbeing Advisory Forum Terms of Reference.

Elected Member representatives will be appointed via Council vote and will remain representatives throughout their term of office.
Community representatives will be appointed following an EOI process; as much as possible, Council seeks to ensure that members of advisory groups are representative of the diversity of demographics within the Alexandrina community. Community Centre representatives will be nominated by their respective board or committee.

Refer to the Community Wellbeing Advisory Forum Expression of Interest document for further details on how to apply.

The Community Wellbeing Advisory forum will meet quarterly for a 12 month period. The Terms of Reference for the CWAF will be reviewed annually. This will also include reviewing the effectiveness of the forum and ensuring that the purpose is being fulfilled.
