Postponed Events

The following Events across the Alexandrina Council region have been postponed or cancelled:

  • 11 September to 1 November - JamFactory Icon Angela Valamanesh: About Being Here
  • 19 September - Billy - My Life (Goolwa)
  • 30 September - It's Yesterday Once More - The carpenter's Tribute starring Kat Caton (Goolwa)
  • 3 October - Adelaide Symphony Orchestra

The following Community Events have been cancelled on the following dates.
Please note, as these are community organised events some may be rescheduled. Future dates will be advised on Council's tourism website

  • 29 October - Muscle Car Run (Goolwa)
  • 5 November - Bridge Swing (Goolwa)
  • 5 November - Send n Slash Jet Ski (Goolwa)
  • 14 November - Handpicked Festival (Langhorne Creek)

Other regular/ re-occuring Community Events cancelled (until further notice) include:

Park Run Goolwa and Strathalbyn.

All library programs are cancelled effective from Monday 23 March until further notice. A limited range of community hub programs will recommence as of Tuesday 9 June. Community hub participants will be contacted by staff individually to advise when a program they attend is recommencing.

All Centenary Hall events are cancelled/postponed effective from Monday 23 March to 30 September 2020 or until further notice. Future dates will be advised on Council's website.

Public Toilets

Public toilets have been reopened following some closures during the April-May COVID-19 period.

Council will continue to clean, service and monitor public toilets in our region.
