Local businesses gain expert support in Strathalbyn
Polaris Business Fundamentals: Running and Growing Your Business
A full house of local businesses came together at the Strathalbyn Town Hall on Wednesday 18 February for a hands-on workshop designed to help them build confidence and capability across the key areas of business success.
The session, Running and Growing Your Business, was delivered in partnership with the Polaris Business Development Centre, with Alexandrina Council hosting the event in the recently renovated Strathalbyn Town Hall, ensuring local operators could access expert advice close to home and free of charge.
The workshop covered pricing, planning, marketing, profitability, and strategies to sell more than competitors – all focused on helping businesses strengthen foundations and grow sustainably. Participants received practical tools, a workshop manual, and access to a free one-hour private business consultation to apply what they learned.
The sold-out session brought together a diverse cross-section of the business community from Strathalbyn and surrounds.
Strong businesses mean a strong region. By connecting our local operators with expert-led programs, Alexandrina Council is supporting business capability, confidence, and long-term resilience.
