Alexandrina Council maintains a number of boat ramps across the region for you to enjoy a day on the water.
Did you know Goolwa has a dedicated Jet Ski Park?
For personal water crafts the dedicated Jet Ski only boat ramp and Park is located on Barrage Road, Goolwa.
The Park features open green space, small beach access and facilities including toilets, smart benches and Free WiFi making this an ideal location for jet ski users to base themselves at for a day on the water. Follow the link to the Goolwa Jet Ski Park for further information and pictures.

To assist you to locate a suitable boat launching or personal water craft facility in the Alexandrina region we have created a map indicating some of the better known boat ramp locations. Alexandrina Council suggest that you take the following steps to plan your day on the water:
- Check the latest weather information, via the Bureau of Meteorology for local conditions
- Check specific facilities available at each Boat Ramp as not all boat ramps are suitable for all types of boat/trailer configurations in all tidal conditions
- Please consider the tide, your safety and those around you when engaging in boating activities especially around ramps where there may be children present.
Alexandrina Council do not charge for boat ramp use or require any permits, however please follow signage at individual locations regarding any relevant restrictions.

Water Activities
Clayton Bay Foreshore Reserve and the Goolwa (Aquatic Club) Barrage Road locations offer an ideal location with riverside access for water skiing, and personal water craft with amenities for groups to spend a day on the water with land/beach access.
There are a number of other boat ramps for public use, however beyond launching and jetty access the facilities and space are limited.
