Enrol to Vote

Council are still currently taking forms from people who wish to enrol on Council's voters roll despite the delay in the Election Date.

Please be aware that changes to the Local Government (Elections) Act 1999 were passed by State Parliament in late November 2025 and came into effect on 1 January 2026. These amendments include updates to eligibility requirements for Council's voters roll. Nominate

Nominating for Council can be a big decision but the opportunity to contribute positively to your community can be extremely rewarding.

If you live in South Australia, own property or live in the Alexandrina Council area and meet the eligibility requirements set out by state law, you may wish to consider stepping up as a local leader.
