Council requires permits to be held by individuals, groups or businesses for some activities that require the use of public land.

Public land includes reserves, parks and gardens, roads, carparks, riverbanks and road related areas.

Council will strive to ensure that activities that promote a sense of vibrancy and local attraction within the community do so without negatively impacting on the general public or the environment.
