How to make a payment
We offer a range of payment options, as listed below.
If you find yourself facing financial hardship and anticipate being unable to fulfil your upcoming rates payment, we can assist with setting up a direct debit payment plan.

Commencing from your second instalment rates notice in 2023/24, you will be able to schedule to pay the rest of your rates by direct debit.
What is FlexiPay?
FlexiPay is our direct debit payment option that allows you to pay your rates in smaller amounts to suit your budget, such as weekly, fortnightly, monthly or quarterly over the financial year.

You can use Post Billpay to pay your rates by:

- in person: At any Australia Post outlet
Take your rates notice to either of the below Council locations. You can pay by EFTPOS or credit card.

11 Cadell Street, Goolwa
Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm and Saturday 9am – 12pm (excluding public holidays).
Strathalbyn Library | Customer Service
1 Colman Terrace, Strathalbyn
Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm and Saturday 9am – 12pm (excluding public holidays).
Cut off the slip at the bottom of your rates notice, attach your cheque and post to:
