Our Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) community are eager to contribute to the community. They recognise and value our friendly, supportive and diverse community.
Our priorities include promoting health, wellbeing and inclusion in our community. Our key actions include exploring ways to improve sharing of information.
Culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) is a term often used to describe people living in Australia who were born overseas, or people living in Australia who have parent(s) or grandparent(s) born overseas, and are predominately from non-English speaking or non-Western countries.
Cultural diversity is valuable for a community, including the different skills, perspectives, traditions, values and experiences people from diverse backgrounds bring to the community.
Learn more about our priorities and action in the Community Wellbeing Action Plan and Plan on a page - Our CALD Community.
