Ratalang Basham Beach and Horseshoe Bay Advisory Committee

Council established the Ratalang Basham Beach Horseshoe Bay Advisory (RBBHB) Committee in accordance with section 41 of the Local Government Act 1999, on 28 November 2022 (ACM221720) to provide advice to Council on:

• matters relating to preserving the heritage and biodiversity character of Ratalang Basham Beach Conservation Reserve and Horseshoe Bay;
• the maintenance and management of Ratalang Basham Beach Conservation Reserve and Horseshoe Bay; and
• the development of Ratalang Basham Beach Conservation Reserve and Horseshoe Bay.

Membership of the Committee consists of two (2) West Ward Councillors and up to a maximum of eight (8) Community Members including a:

• chairperson
• representative from the local Ngarrindjeri Community
• representative nominated from the Port Elliot Town and Foreshore Improvement Association
• representative nominated from the Middleton Community Association

RBBHB meetings are open to the public unless indicated otherwise.
