The Strathalbyn Recreation Precinct (Lot 10) Advisory Group (the Advisory Group) formerly known as the Lot 10 Langhorne Creek Road Project Steering Group, was established by Council on 17 February 2025 (C040/02/25) to provide advice, feedback and advocacy to the Executive Officer with respect to future options for the Strathalbyn Recreation Precinct at Lot 10 Langhorne Creek Road, Strathalbyn under the care and control of Alexandrina Council. The Advisory Group does not have any legal standing however, due to the membership containing Council Members, is required to comply with the information or briefing sessions legislative provisions contained in Section 90A of the Local Government Act 1999.
Membership of the Advisory Group consists of the Group Manager Regional Development as Executive Officer and Presiding Member, the Mayor as ex-officio, a maximum of three (3) Council Members (with preference given to the North Ward), and representatives from various stakeholder groups, including the Strathalbyn and District Basketball Association, Strathalbyn Strikers Football Club, Eastern Fleurieu School, Strathalbyn Agricultural Society Inc., Strathalbyn Model Aircraft Club, Strathalbyn Campdraft, and Strathalbyn Cricket Club Inc.

Meetings of the Strathalbyn Recreation Precinct (Lot 10) Advisory Group are open to the public unless indicated otherwise.
