Alexandrina Libraries provide a free monthly home delivery service to members of the community who are unable to visit one our library branches.
Our libraries deliver bags of library resources in all formats to your door with your reading, listening or viewing preferences front of mind. We also visit aged care facilities within the Alexandrina district, delivering resources to individual residents.
Who is eligible for the home delivery service?
Any resident who resides in the Alexandrina Council district whose circumstances prevent them coming into a library branch is eligible for the outreach service. This may include:
- People with health, access or mobility issues
- People who have a disability or injury and their carers
- People living in isolation
- Permanent residents of aged care facilities
