The upgrade to the Peters Terrace road surface is now complete.
The project works included:
- Tays Road to Clyde Terrace: Installation of a rollover kerb and gutter on the residential side of the road, along with an asphalt infill between the existing road and the new kerbing.
- Peters Terrace and Clyde Terrace Intersection: Asphalt surfacing with line marking and a new “Give Way” sign.
- Clyde Terrace to Roadmans Reserve: Adding a 4m-wide spray seal surface, with an additional 0.5m of compacted material on each side for extra safety space when vehicles pass. Additionally, the informal entry to Peters Terrace from Victor Harbor Road has been permanently closed to vehicles, as this vehicle path is not recognised by the Department of Infrastructure and Transport.
