The Lions Park Playground on Colman Terrace in Strathalbyn was upgraded with brand new play equipment and a new hill slide from August to October 2018.

Complementing the neighbouring swim centre and picnic areas, and just across the road from the Strathalbyn Library and Community Centre, the playground is an ever-popular location for families to unwind in the serenity of the scenic Soldiers Memorial Gardens.

Council allocated a budget of $109,000 to this upgrade in the 2017-18 budget.
