Annual paid additional collection service
Residents and businesses within the Alexandrina Council area have the option to purchase additional kerbside collection services annually. These extra services align with your existing fortnightly collection schedule and are available per rateable property assessments (excluding vacant land).

Ad-Hoc Additional Bin Collection Services
Fleurieu Regional waste Authority (FRWA) offers pre-booked, ad-hoc additional collection services for residents and businesses who occasionally need extra waste support. The options available are detailed below:
Out-of-cycle – extra collection outside your regular collection schedule
If your general waste bin is full before your usual collection day, you can request an additional empty outside of your regular fortnightly schedule. Fees and charges apply.
In-cycle Collection - Extra Bin Collected on Your Regular Collection Day
If you own a second bin and want it emptied alongside your regular fortnightly collection service, you can book an individual additional collection on your normal collection day. Fees and charges apply.
Please Note:
- Additional bins will only be collected if arranged and paid for in advance.
- Additional bins placed out without prior booking and payment, a valid sticker, or notification in the drivers manifest will not be emptied.
