Design and Technical Standards
Standards establish requirements for a repeatable technical task with the construction and/or modification of Alexandrina Council’s assets within the Water Services Industry. Design and Technical Standards generally form part of a contractual document and are binding.
The Alexandrina Council requires that all design works be undertaken in accordance with the following Codes and Criteria:
- Alexandrina Wastewater - Typical Drawings (Civil)
- Alexandrina Wastewater - Typical Drawings (Electrical)
- WSA 01 – Polyethylene Pipeline Code of Australia
- WSA 02 – Sewerage Code of Australia
- WSA 04 – Sewerage Pumping Station Code of Australia
- WSA 06 – Vacuum Sewerage Code of Australia
- WSA 07 – Pressure Sewerage Code of Australia
- WSA 302 – SCADA Guidelines
- Community Wastewater Management Systems Code, April 2013 (SA Health)
- SA Water – Authorised Products TS 0506 Vacuum Sewer Systems, Revision 1.0, 8 April 2016 or later approved document; with exception to a small number of items documented.
Alexandrina Council Typical Drawings Civil and Electrical
The Alexandrina Council requires that all infrastructure design works be generally undertaken in accordance with the following typical drawings
- Alexandrina Wastewater - Typical Drawings (Civil)
- Alexandrina Wastewater - Typical Drawings (Electrical)
