SA Power Networks Community Grants

Applications close on 14 April 2024

The SA Power Network Community Grants program is seeking to empower activities, programs or events which will make a positive impact in South Australia. The 2024 program will focus on two key areas: sustainability and innovation, supporting community projects, that aim to ensure a greener, more sustainable future.

Eligible entities can apply for grants of up to $5,000 per project.

Gallagher Landcare Electric Fencing Grants

Applications close on 15 April 2024 at midnight

The Gallagher Landcare Electric Fencing Grants program provides support for conservation and biodiversity protection projects aligned with the priority areas of Conservation Exclusion/Inclusion Fencing and Riparian Protection and Farm Dam Restoration on agricultural land.

Applications for 22 grants of $8,000 are offered to eligible applicants.

Landscape SA Hills and Fleurieu Grassroots Grants

Applications close on 17 April 2024 at 12 noon

The Landscape SA Grassroots Grants program puts up to $250,000 on the table for projects that support volunteers, schools, environmental community organisations, not-for-profit groups and landholders working locally for environmental and regenerative land management outcomes.

Eligible entities can apply for grants across two funding tiers: less than $4,000 and up to $20,000.

Activating Heritage Tourism Small Grants

Applications close on 19 April 2024

The Activating Heritage Tourism Small Grants offers $150,000 in funding to activate and elevate the quality of heritage tourism products in South Australia.

Grants of between $5,000 and $15,000 are available for Heritage sector operators who offer visitor experiences and activities in South Australia; and Tourism operators with South Australian heritage tourism products.

Department of Health and Aged Care: Play our Way Program

Round 1 Applications close on 29 April 2024 at 2pm

The $200 million Play Our Way program will provide greater opportunities for women and girls to access, participate and remain involved in sport and physical activity.

The Play Our Way program grant opportunity will fund projects for up to three years across two streams:

* Stream 1: Facilities: Single or multi-year funding to support new and upgraded facilities playing areas or spaces for sport and physical activity, specifically for women and girls.

* Stream 2: Participation and equipment: Single year funding, with projects able to be delivered over multiple years, to support sustainable and enduring sport participation programs, and/or new or upgraded equipment, specifically for women and girls.

Applications for Stream 1 projects can request between $50,000 and $1,500,000.
Applications for Stream 2 projects can request between $50,000 and $1,000,000.

Country Arts SA - Quick Response Grants

Applications close on 30 April 2024

Quick Response Grants will fund professional development opportunities for artists and arts workers or small project opportunities. The program supports immediate need that arises where the activity is unable to be planned for or supported in other funding rounds.

Individuals can apply for up to $3,000 and organisations or community groups can apply for up to $5,000.

Elders Community Giving Program

Applications close on 10 May 2024

The Elders Community Giving Program supports initiatives that provide sustainable, tangible and long-term benefits with positive outcomes for Australian rural, regional and remote communities. Applications must align to one of six pillars; People and regions, Environmental Awareness, Innovation into the future, Encouraging diversity, and Safety first.

Incorporated or auspiced not-for profit groups can apply for one of 14 grants, of either $10,000 or $20,000.

Fleurieu Community Bank Community Investment Program

Applications close on 10 May 2024

The Fleurieu Community Bank Community Investment Program aims to support community groups that are working hard to make the Fleurieu community a better place to live, work and grow. The program aims to invest in local organisations that facilitate activities to build and strengthen our local community.

Grants are available to address a social issue within the community.

Qantas Regional Grants Program

The Qantas Regional Grants program offers $2 million in support to Australian-based communities and projects that are looking to benefit Australia's regional areas.

Individuals, groups or not-for-profit organisation seeking funds to contribute positively to their regional community can apply for a grant, with a mixture of cash, flights and marketing support available.

ABC Heywire Youth Innovation Grant Program

Applications close on 29 May 2024

Grants of up to $10,000 are available for regional communities across Australia to adopt, adapt and act on one of the six ideas generated at the ABC Heywire Summit, listed below.

  • Bussin’: How might we create more accessible transport options for young people in regional and rural communities?
  • MEE (Mentoring Educating Empowering): How might we close the gap in accessing quality education for young people in regional, rural and remote communities?
  • A Place for You: How might we improve accessibility to mental health services in remote and regional areas of Australia?
  • The Bigger Picture: How can we empower young people in regional towns to celebrate their differences and foster connection among themselves?
  • Safe Sphere: How might we ensure that young people in regional and remote communities receive relevant and comprehensive sexual education?
  • Youth 2 Grassroots: How might we promote a stronger connection between individuals and their land by fostering a culture of environmental protection and stewardship?

FRRR Strengthening Rural Communities - Small & Vital

Round 21 applications close on 5 June 2024 at 5pm

The Strengthening Rural Communities (SRC) Small & Vital stream gives small remote, rural and regional communities across Australia the opportunity to access funds for a broad range of initiatives that directly and clearly benefit local communities.

Grants of up to $10,000 are available, with a preference for smaller communities (populations under 15,000).

Telstra Footy Country Grants

Round 3 Applications close on 13 June 2024

The Telstra Footy Country Grants program is designed to financially assist initiatives that can support Community Clubs strengthen the base and secure the future in three key strategic areas: Grow and assist volunteer capacity, Grow and diversify participation, Improve club environments and experiences.

Applications up to $20,000 will be considered from Community Footy Club's affiliated to the AFL.
