3 Days to Play – School Holiday Youth Theatre Program
Over the 2022-23 summer school holidays young people from across the Fleurieu joined award-winning theatre professionals, Sally Hardy and Rory Walker, to create a brand-new play in only 3 days.
Workshops were held across the region in Victor Harbor, Milang and Goolwa. Participants were involved in all aspects of the creative process, from scriptwriting, to set design and music.
The workshops culminated in a live performance of their play “Life’s a Bus” for family and friends at Goolwa Centenary Hall. New connections were made as young people came together from different townships immersing themselves in a creative and fun filled environment.
This opportunity was made possible through a collaboration between Alexandrina Council, City of Victor Harbor and headspace.
