Council will be seeking community feedback on the proposed Draft Annual Business Plan and Budget 2024/25 and Draft Long Term Financial Plan. Community consultation is now open and closes 3 June 2024, 5 pm.

Council is hosting three Budget Roadshow Public Meetings across the region, in line with the Local Government Act 1999 Section 123 (4) (a) (i) (A) giving the opportunity for community members to learn about the budget and ask questions in person:

• South Ward - Monday 13 May, 3.30 pm - 4.30 pm at the Goolwa Council Chambers, 11 Cadell Street, Goolwa
• North Ward – Tuesday 21 May, 6.30 pm - 7.30 pm at the St Andrews Church Hall, 10 Alfred Place, Strathalbyn
• West Ward - Monday 27 May, 6.30 pm – 7.30 pm at the Mount Compass Memorial Hall, 5 Peters Terrace, Mount Compass

A full copy of the Plan will be available to view at the Council Offices, library depots or by visiting mysay.alexandrina.sa.gov.au/abp2024-25

Submissions will be accepted by Council until 5 pm, Monday 3 June 2024. Council will consider the community feedback received at the 17 June 2024 Council Meeting and then the amended draft Plan will be considered at the Special Council Meeting on 24 June 2024 for adoption.
